The work of sculptor Sam Bowen will be showcased throughout October at the Art Bank, 811 Massachusetts Ave.
“This show is about encouraging the current generation through symbolical sculptures, having this reminder that they can do more instead of accepting their current state and changing it with persistence,” said Bowen, who creates sculptures that project positive messages.
“Being intentionally different is the key for me. There is only one you. You have to be true to yourself in order for many to benefit,” he said of his work, which can be viewed from 1-8 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays, 1-9 p.m. Saturdays and noon-4 p.m. Sundays. Info: 624-1010.
