Storytelling Variety Show for Adults
Don Fogleman, aka “The Bookman,” will host “ Pull Up a Chair: A Storytelling Variety Show” at 8 p.m. Saturday at Playground Production Studios in Irvington, 5529 Bonna Ave., No. 10. Summerfest at German Park
The Indianapolis Liederkranz will host its annual Summerfest from 5-10:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at German Park, 8600 S. Meridian St. The event will feature German food and beverages with the Liederkranz Brass and Jay Fox Bavarian Showtime bands performing. Admission is $5; children under age 12 will be admitted free.

Yard Sale at Sahara Grotto
Sahara Grotto, 6620 Madison Ave., will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5. Food and beverages will be available.
