Open House for Pre-K Program
An open house for Bethany Early Ministry’s pre-K program – a Level 3 Paths to Quality provider that accepts children of parents who receive assistance from the Child Care and Development Fund – will be held from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at 4702 S. East St. Children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years can be enrolled in the faith-based initiative. Language translators will be available.

Single-session tickets for the Division I men’s basketball championship preliminary rounds Friday, March 17, and Sunday, March 19, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse are on sale at www.ncaa.com/mbbtickets.
Nominations Sought for Authors Awards
Nominations are being sought through March 17 for the Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Awards, which honors Indiana authors whose work has made or has the potential to make a lasting impact. Authors may be nominated in one of four categories: national, regional, emerging author or middle grade fiction. Awards range from $5,000 to $10,000. Info: www.indianaauthorsaward.org.
Fundraiser March 5 for Fletcher Place
The sixth annual Strikes for Stansfield benefit for Fletcher Place Community Center will take place from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Woodland Bowl, 3421 E. 96th St. In addition to bowling, the event will feature raffles and door prizes. Teams may register at www.stansfield

Psychic Fair This Weekend
The Pyramid of Enlightenment Spiritual Center, 8101 E. Washington St., will host a psychic fair from noon-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There will be readers ($10 for 15 minutes) of all types, including astrology, clairvoyance, numerology, palmistry and tarot. Door prizes and aura pictures will also be available.
