SUBMITTED PHOTO Dancers, singers, musicians and Santa will take center stage in “A Beef & Boards Christmas,” opening Nov. 24.
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre’s annual Christmas show is on stage through Dec. 23 for its 25th and final season.

“ ‘A Beef & Boards Christmas’ has been our original Christmas greeting to our guests for 25 years,” said theater owner Doug Stark, who will play Santa Claus. “We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our audiences for making the show part of their holiday tradition.”

Kenny Shepard, who has performed in the production since its second year, will once again be the host. “I feel very honored to have been part of it for so many years and to be included in the big finale,” he remarked.

Tickets cost from $42.50 to $67.50 and include a buffet dinner. Discounts are available for children ages 3-15 and groups of 20 or more. A show schedule is listed at www.beefandboards.com, and reservations can be arranged by calling 307-872-9664.

The show, which will be replaced by “Elf: The Musical” may return in the future, but no definitive plans have been made.

SUBMITTED PHOTO The Eiteljorg Musuem’s train show runs through Jan. 15.
Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure, a model train attraction that has become a popular Christmas attraction, will be on display through Jan. 15 at the Eiteljorg Museum.

Visitors are in for an enchanting holiday experience as nine G-scale model trains crisscross miniature landscapes that re-create Downtown Indianapolis and landmarks of the West, including the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone Park, Mount Rushmore, the Golden Gate Bridge, Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam and Hollywood, all built of natural materials and decked out in festive lighting.

“With its intricate recreations of iconic Western scenes, Jingle Rails sparks children’s imaginations about the West and engages parents and grandparents, bringing back nostalgic memories of favorite landmarks,” said John Vanausdall, president and CEO of the Eiteljorg, 500 W. Washington St.

Admission is $7 for children ages 5-17, $11 for seniors, $13 for adults. Discounted tickets are available at www.eiteljorg.org, as are details about special events coinciding with the show. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Info: 317-636-9378.
