Spaghetti Dinner, Silent Auction
The Southport Lions Club will sponsor a spaghetti and meatballs dinner and silent auction from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the Southport Community Center, 6901 Derbyshire Road. Benefit Car Wash
A benefit car wash for Southport High School senior Ethan Knox, whose mother was found dead Sept. 8 in her car near their home, will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Beck Service Center, 6025 Madison Ave. Knox, who lived with his mother, will use the proceeds to pay bills.
Bead, Gem and Jewelry Show
The 18th annual Indianapolis Fall Bead, Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show runs from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Agriculture/Horticulture Building, 1202 E. 38th St. In addition to fine gems and beads, the event will feature jewelry makers, goldsmiths, silversmiths and classes in bead stringing and lampwork bead making.
