Senior Community Hosting Benefit for Hurricane Victims
A heartbreaking picture showing elderly people trapped inside an assisted living facility, sitting waist-deep in flood waters caused by Hurricane Harvey, has prompted Forest Creek Village, a senior community at 525 E. Thompson Road, to host a benefit lunch for nursing homes in Galveston County, Texas. Lunch, featuring pulled pork, green beans, chips and a cookies, will be served for $5 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Manual Class of 1972 Reunion
