Realizing that storefront psychic Oda Mae Brown (seated and played by Renee Jackson) may be able to hear him, Sam (Eddie Egan) tells her his name several times and implores her to repeat it to confirm his suspicions in “Ghost the Musical,” on stage through Nov. 18 at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre.

Based on the hit 1990 film, the production follows Sam and Molly (Andrea Laxton), a young couple whose connection takes a shocking turn after Sam’s untimely death. Trapped between two worlds, Sam refuses to leave Molly when he learns she is in grave danger. Desperate to communicate with her, he turns to Brown, who helps him protect Molly while avenging his death.

Tickets range from $42.50 to $67.50 and include a buffet dinner. A show schedule is listed at www.beefandboards.com, and reservations can be arranged by calling 317-872-9664.
