The student-directed play features a middle-aged woman named Deborah, who awakens after having been in a comatose state for 30 years ... the result of a “sleepy sickness.”
Believing she is still a 16-year-old, she must confront a body that has aged. Her sister, Pauline, and Pauline’s husband, Hornby, who has been Deborah’s devoted doctor over the past three decades and who may have fallen in love with her, attempt to gently ease her back to her reality.
Curtain time is 8 p.m. for all productions. Tickets, which can be reserved by calling 788-3251 or visiting www.indy.edu/arts, are $10 for seniors, students with identification and individuals in groups of eight or more and $12 for adults. Everyone will be admitted for $6 Dec. 4. A free preview will be presented at 8 p.m. Thursday.
