Rummage Sale at Holy Name
Holy Name’s Altar Society will host a rummage sale from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at the Holy Name Parish Life Center, 21 N. 16th St., Beech Grove. The sale will feature linens, clothes, electronics, dishes, jewelry, knickknacks and much more. 

Rummage Sale at St. Paul Hermitage
The Ave Maria Guild of St. Paul Hermitage, 501 N. 17th Ave., will hold a rummage sale from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday, March 31. The sale will include clothing, shoes, purses, linens, household items, books, cassettes, toys, stuffed animals, etc. People who have items to donate should call Vicki at 317-223-3687. 

Benefit for Tails & Trails Rescue
 “Spay-ghetti and Meatballs for Mutts,” a fundraiser being hosted by Tails & Trails Rescue, will take place from 1:30-5 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at the Indiana City Brewing Co., 24 Shelby St. A silent auction will run from 1:30-4 p.m., and spaghetti dinners with salad, garlic bread, dessert and beverages will be served at 2:30 p.m. The event will also feature live music, raffles and an adoption fair. Tickets, $35 each or two for $60, must be purchased in advance at https://goo.gl/t3wQKS.

Free Easter Egg Hunts

As part of its monthly outreach programs, Emmaus Lutheran Church, 1224 Laurel St., will host Easter egg hunts (held according to age groups) at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8. There will also be children’s activities and snacks.  

Psychic Fair This Weekend 

The Pyramid of Enlightenment Spiritual Center, 8101 E. Washington St., will host a psychic fair from noon-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There will be readers ($10 for 15 minutes) of all types, including astrology, clairvoyance, numerology, palmistry and tarot. Door prizes and aura pictures will also be available. Board of Education Meetings, Work Sessions
The Perry Township Board of Education meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Monday of each month (except for the first Monday in October) at the Perry Township Education Center, 6548 Orinoco Ave. Public work sessions are held at 6 p.m. the fourth Monday of each month (except for March, May, July and December. 

Harlem Wiazards Will Play Southport Staff

The world-famous Harlem Wizards basketball team will return to Southport Fieldhouse at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 22, to face the Brave Birds (Southport High School’s staff). Advance tickets are $6 at www.ptef.org/events. Tickets at the door will cost $8; children ages 2 and under will be admitted free. Proceeds will benefit the Perry Township Education Foundation, which supports creative and innovative learning programs.

Sale Will Feature Military and Patriotic Items
An open house for veterans will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at the Fort Harrison Veterans Center, 9450 E. 59th St., where a food drive and the sale of all kinds of military and patriotic items will take place. Info: Bill Fewell at 317-549-5900.
