 Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day With Mass, Dinner, Dancing
St. Patrick Parish will host an international dinner with traditional cuisine and seafood from 7-9 p.m. Friday, March 17, at its parish hall, 950 Prospect St. The evening will also feature Irish and Latin music. Tickets are $5 for children ages 12 and under, $8 for adults. A bilingual Mass will precede the dinner at 6 p.m.

Ladies Luncheon Features Speakers, Singer
The Near South Christian Women’s Club is hosting a ladies luncheon from noon-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, at Dye’s Walk Country Club, 2080 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. The program will feature Barb Renshaw from Meals on Wheels, singer Alisa Gammons and Lynne Jordan, who will speak on “Living Balanced in a Tilted World.” The cost is $14, and reservations should be phoned to Nancy at 317-787-2846 by March 13. 

Psychic Fair This Weekend 
The Pyramid of Enlightenment Spiritual Center, 8101 E. Washington St., will host a psychic fair from noon-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There will be readers ($10 for 15 minutes) of all types, including astrology, clairvoyance, numerology, palmistry and tarot. Door prizes and aura pictures will also be available. Senior Promise Opens New Office 
As Franciscan Senior Promise observes 30 years of serving tens of thousands of central Indiana residents, the agency continues to extend its reach with the opening of a new office at  8778 Madison Ave. The facility features a large meeting room, a coffee bar and access to computer stations. An open house to celebrate the opening will be held from 1:30-3 p.m. Friday. There is also an office at 8111 S. Emerson Ave.

Job Fairs at Franciscan Health
Franciscan Health will host job fairs from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 1, in the outpatient lobby (entrance) of its south campus, 8111 S. Emerson Ave. Participants should bring their resumes. Info: https://jobs.franciscanhealth.org/.

Free Dinner for Veterans and Their Families 
Christ Our Shepherd Church of the Brethren, 857 N. State Road 135, Greenwood, will serve free meals to veterans and their families at 5 p.m. Sunday. The speaker for the program that follows the dinner is John Kindred, who served in the Navy from 1978-99 and logged 3,500 mishap-free flight hours and over 780 carrier landings. Info: 317-416-7888.

Sanitary Sewer Rates May Increase in Beech Grove
The Beech Grove City Council will hear a proposal to increase the sanitary sewer rates for customers during a special council meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at City Hall, 802 Main St. The planned adjustment is the result of a request from Citizens Energy Group to the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission. The increase will be discussed during a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at Hornet Park Community Center, 5245 Hornet Ave.

Need Help With That Writing Project
The Central Indiana Writers’ Association will present “How to Organize Your Writing Project” from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, March 20, at Greenwood Library, 310 S. Meridian St. The free program has been designed for writers who don’t know where to start. 

Tribe’s Single-game Tickets on Sale

Indianapolis Indians single-game tickets can be purchased by calling 317-269-2282 or visiting www.indyindians.com. The Tribe opens its home season April 6 against Toledo. Season highlights will include five super hero nights with characters from the Marvel and DC Comics universes, 13 fireworks nights, dollar menu Mondays and kids eat free Sundays. Lawn, reserved and box seats are $11, $13 and $17, respectively. Fans may receive $2 off each ticket when purchased in advance.

Bulb Show Opens at Garfield Park 
The annual spring bulb show at the Garfield Park Conservatory, 2450 Shelby St., runs through Friday. From classic favorites to unique hybrids of tulips, hyacinth, daffodils and more, your sneak peek of spring is here. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is $4 per person, $10 per family (two adults maximum). A bulb sale starts at 10 a.m. Saturday. 

Vendor Space Available for Street Fair
Vendor space for the Indy-Franklin Township Lions Club’s annual Wanamaker Street Fair and Classic Car Show on June 25 is available by visiting www.indyftlions.weebly.

Free Lawn Care Classes
A series of three free lawn care classes will start at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at Greenwood Library, 310 S. Meridian St., where master gardener Dick Huber will discuss mowing techniques, weed control, aeration and fertilization. Call 317-885-5036 to register.

College Fair at UIndy     
The University of Indianapolis, 1400 E. Hanna Ave., will host the annual Greater Indianapolis Southside College Fair from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 14. Students in Grades 9-12 and their parents can get information from more than 80 colleges on admissions, academic programs, scholarships, financial aid, athletic eligibility, campus life, and much more.

• Protect yourself from stroke, 6:30 p.m. today at White River Library, 1664, Library Blvd., Greenwood. 
• Nutrition and fitness, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at the heart center, 8111 S. Emerson Ave., Entrance 1. 
• Cooking for two, 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at the center. Cooking on a small scale can be healthy and rewarding.

Teaching Children Resiliency
 A free workshop to help educators, youth workers, community leaders and parents to teach children how to embrace challenges, learn from criticism and find lessons in others’ successes will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at Brookside Park’s Family Recreation Center, 3500 Brookside Pkwy.
