• Baby and Toddler Storytime, 10:30 a.m. March 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 at 10:30 a.m. Babies and toddlers up to age 3 with an adult are invited for stories, songs and rhymes that focus on early literacy skills.    
• Preschool Storytime, 10:30 a.m. March 13, 20 and 27. 
 • Irish folk concert featuring the Ennis Clare Band, 6-7 p.m. March 13.
• Teen swap, 2-3 p.m. March 17; children ages 10-14 are invited to give away and take items for free. 
• Paws to Read, 6-7:30 p.m. Children who are reluctant readers are invited to read to Abbey or Biscuit, registered therapy dogs who love to listen to stories. Call to register for 15-minute sessions.

Garfield Park Library

• Open computer lab, 4-6:30 p.m. March 14. Participants can receive assistance in using Microsoft Word and other applications. Assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Yoga for parents and preschoolers, 11 a.m. March 17.
• Radial art design class, 11 a.m. March 22; children ages 6 and up are invited to explore design, balance, symmetry and art all while creating a radial art masterwork. Call to register.
• Macrame bracelet class for children ages 6 and older, 1 p.m. March 23. Call to register.
• Beginning email class for adults, 1:30-3:30 p.m. March 27. Registration is required.

• Genealogy research assistance, 2-5 p.m. March 12 and 4-7 p.m. March 26. Call to register.

Homework Lounge, 4-5:30 p.m., March 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27 and 29. Children and teenagers are invited to use the library to work on their assignments or spend 15 minutes reading. Those who participate can get a prize for completing their homework.
• Preschool Storytime, 11 a.m. March 12, 19 and 26. Preschoolers and an adult are invited for stories, songs, fingerplays and rhymes.
• Book discussion for adults, 1:30 p.m. March 8. 
• Monday night crafts, 6-7:30 p.m. March 12. Adults are invited to bring their craft projects and work on them with fellow crafters.
• Healthy snacks for preschoolers, 11 a.m. March 19; registration is required.
