The event, whose theme is “A Salute to Hollywood,” will feature carnival rides and games by Poor Jack Amusements, live music and vendors selling food, novelties and services.
Hours are 6-11 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 1-11 p.m. Saturday, with the parade at noon. A huge craft fair will be held Saturday.
The entertainment kicks off with Common Ground and the Urban Line Dancers taking the stage today.

Rising country star Carly Brooke, who sang the national anthem at the Indianapolis Colts game Aug. 22, will perform Friday.
Karaoke is on the agenda from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday, and Paul Rippy’s Accustics in the Air Band will perform from 6-11 p.m. The group features Jeff Hudson, Michael Ginsberg and Steve Shackelford.
In addition to all the food, fun and entertainment, Servant’s Heart of Indy and the Beech Grove Fire and Police departments have joined forces to hold a food and diaper drive. The goal is 5,000 cans of food and 1,000 diapers. Items most needed are vegetables, fruits, meats, soups, peanut butter and pasta meals.
The ministry (788-9433), which always needs volunteers, serves between 75 and 90 families weekly.
