Instructor-led meditation and breathing exercise programs for adults will be held at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 10 and Nov. 14, $6.
Photographers can hone their skills by taking pictures in the conservatory on Oct. 17 from 8-10 a.m., before it opens, $5.
An arts and crafts program will be held from 2-3 p.m. Oct. 24. Participants can decorate a pumpkin or create an autumn doorstep ornament, $10 per craft.
Children ages 2-5 are invited to don their Halloween costumes and learn about some creepy and not-so-creepy creatures at 10 a.m. Oct. 26; $5.
The conservatory will be transformed into a haunted house from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 28 and 29, with the first 90 minutes being less scary for the little ones, $2. There will be free activities at the arts and family centers.
A holiday herb workshop will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 7. Participants can make holiday gifts by using herbs, $5.
The conservatory is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays, 1-5 p.m. Sundays, $2. Free guided tours are offered at 2:30 p.m. the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.
