Kathy Murray’s son, Brenden, is on the autism spectrum, and they’ve been involved with Jubilate for four years.
“I originally got Brenden involved in Jubilate because I really wanted for him to be involved in something outside of school,” Murray said. “Most extracurricular activities, such as sports, are difficult for him, but he has always loved music. When I heard about Jubilate I knew it would be perfect for him. He absolutely loves being part of this choir.”
Another parent said, “Our son has gained confidence and a sense of teamwork while learning and experiencing music in a way that traditional music therapy can not provide.”
