“Dogfight,” a charming musical that depicts three marines as they set out for one final night of debauchery in San Francisco on the eve of their deployment to Southeast Asia in 1963, opens Friday for a three-weekend run at Buck Creek Players.
But when Cpl. Eddie Birdlace (Nathan Wilusz) meets Rose (Addison Koehler), an awkward and idealistic waitress whom he enlists to win a cruel bet with his friends, she rewrites the rules of the game and the two share a night they’ll never forget.
Curtain time at the playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Ave., is 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. Sundays. Tickets, $18 for children, students and senior citizens ages 62 and up, $20 for adults, can be reserved by calling 317-862-2270 or visiting www.buckcreekplayers.com. Discounts are available for parties of 10 or more.
