Free Strawberry Festival
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 3932 Mi Casa Ave., is sponsoring a free strawberry festival from 1-3 p.m. Saturday. Info: 317-787-4464.

Golf Tournament
Greenwood Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5864 welcomes the public to participate in its 12th annual golf tournament Saturday at Valle Vista, 755 E. Main St., Greenwood. The cost is $260 per foursome and includes beverages on the links and dinner at the post afterward. Info: 317-888-2488.

Guild Welcomes Guests to Picnic
The Ave Maria Guild will host a guest day picnic at noon Tuesday, June 11, at St. Paul Hermitage. All members are asked to bring a covered dish and nonperishable items for the hermitage’s pantry.
 
Town Hall Meeting
A meeting to discuss the ways to pay for new police and fire stations in Beech Grove will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at Hornet Park Community Center, 5245 Hornet Ave.

Fish Fry
Center United Methodist Church, 5445 Bluff Road, is hosting a fish fry from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The menu features fried or baked fish, tenderloins, chicken strips, hot dogs, fries, baked beans, slaw and homemade pies, cakes and cookies. On-site dining and drive-thru and carryout service will be available.

Dinner Program for Veterans
Christ Our Shepherd Church of the Brethren, 857 N. State Road 135, Greenwood, will host a dinner program for all military personnel and their families at 5 p.m. Sunday. Kevin Coley, Indiana adjutant of disabled veterans and a veteran of Operation Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Desert Sweep and Operation Enduring Freedom, will be the guest speaker. Info: 317-416-7888.

Two-for-one tickets for the Indianapolis Indians’ game against the Louisville Bats on Tuesday, June 25, are available by visiting www.IndyIndians.com and using the promo code myBMV. Dodgeball Tournament
Featuring 25 corporate teams, the Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center’s eighth annual dodgeball tournament starts at 6 p.m. Friday at Garfield Park, 2405 Shelby St. The event seeks to increase awareness of the center while raising funds to benefit inner-city youth, parents and families.
