Easter Breakfast and Egg Hunt
Southport Christian Church, 210 E. Epler Ave., will host its annual  Easter Bunny breakfast and egg hunt from 9-11 a.m. Saturday for infants through third-graders and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be available for photographs. Register at www.southport
church.org. 

Holy Week Services and Egg Hunt

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 3932 MiCasa Ave., off Gray Road just north of Southport Road, will hold a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. and Good Friday services at noon and 7 p.m. An Easter egg hunt  for children up to 12 years old will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. An Easter Sunday breakfast at 8 a.m. will be followed by a worship at 9:30 a.m. 

Easter Eggstravaganza

Hubler Chevrolet, 8222 S. U.S. 31, and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are hosting their annual Easter Eggstravaganza from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, with an egg hunt for children 14 and under beginning at 2 p.m. The free event will feature a bounce house, face painting, miniature train rides, hot dogs, popcorn, games and much more. Greenwood Band in Concert
The Greater Greenwood Community Band will perform its annual spring concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood High School, 615 W. Smith Valley Road. The free performance will feature patriotic and traditional pieces. A playlist is availabe at www.greenwoodband.com. Canned goods will be accepted on behalf of the Salvation Army.    

Church Serves Free Lunches  

University Heights United Methodist Church, 4002 Otterbein Ave., adjacent to the University of Indianapolis, will serve free lunches from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday. 

Military Will Be Recognized
Manual High School, 2405 Madison Ave., will host a military appreciation day from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 19. Former JROTC cadets, all military personnel and their family and friends and Manual alumni are welcome. The program will feature food, special speakers and presentations. Reservations – although not required – can be called to 317-217-1983 ext. 235. 

Greenwood Veterans Will Host Fish Fry

Greenwood Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5864, 333 S. Washington St., will host a fish fry from 6-8 p.m. Good Friday. The cost is $10 and includes fish, a roll and choice of two of the following: baked beans, slaw or potato salad. Karaoke begins at 8 p.m. Info: 317-888-2488.
