Neighborhood Association Meets
The Northwest Perry Neighborhood Association, which is bounded by Troy Avenue to the north, Madison Avenue to the east, I-465 to the south and Harding Street to the west, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at the St. Roch Parish Life Center, 3603 S. Meridian St. The meeting will include a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Psychic Fair This Weekend
The Pyramid of Enlightenment Spiritual Center, 8101 E. Washington St., will host a psychic fair from noon-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There will be readers ($10 for 15 minutes) of all types, including astrology, clairvoyance, numerology, palmistry and tarot. Door prizes and aura pictures will also be available. Barry Browning, treasurer of the Perry Township/Southport Historical Society, will present a slide show when the club meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Perry Township Education Center, 6548 Orinoco Ave. Browning has unearthed some old and never-before-seen pictures of many Southside places of interest. Y Offers Reduced Rates, Classes for Veterans
Baxter YMCA, 7900 Shelby St., offers reduced membership rates and classes for veterans and military members and their families. Additionally, the Y of Greater Indianapolis provides financial literacy classes and job fairs for the military community. Fundraiser Will Help Offset Medical Bills
A fundraiser to help defray the medical expenses of Carleigh Hager, who was brutally beaten by her boyfriend in October, will be held from noon-10 p.m. Saturday at The Rathskeller, 401 E. Michigan St. The event will feature live music,, raffles, 50-50 drawings, a silent auction and more. Admission is a $5 donation. Info: 419-979-9450.

The Archdiocese of Indianapolis will celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision with a Mass at noon Monday, Jan. 23, at SS. Peter & Paul Cathedral, 1347 N.
