Celebrating its 30th anniversary and wrapping up a U.S. tour before returning to Europe in March, The Real Group was formed at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and has since released more than 20 albums and performed thousands of concerts worldwide. Its members, who claim Bobby McFerrin as an influence, have drawn comparisons to the 1950s and ’60s jazz vocal trio Lambert, Hendricks and Ross.
Tickets, $10 for students and seniors and $20 for adults, are available by calling 788-3251. Discounts are available for groups of five or more.
In addition to the concert, the group will present a two-hour workshop for UIndy students and school choral groups at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at the center. Admission is free and open to the public.
