The cast and production staff included Bill and Burnetta Hardcastle, Barbara and Delbert Self, Marguerite Tucker, Pat and Carolyn Kennedy, John Loflin, Karla Davis, Nellie Jones, Zylpha Salyards, Joe Yocum, Edith Lane, Margaret Goldbrecht, Bill Young and Edith Wells.

The Beech Grove Promoters Club awarded its $500 William Ciriello Scholarship to Tiffany Good, a Beech Grove High School senior who planned to study pharmacology in college. Bill Ciriello, the award’s namesake, co-founded the club in 1953 and was still an active member.

Bennett Leffler and Alexandra Ricardson, prekindergartners at Nativity Grade School, and their classmates celebrated May in typical Indianapolis fashion by holding a “pre-kindy” version of the Indy 500. With colorful cardboard cars and paper-plate wheels, the children raced around a makeshift track.
