SUBMITTED PHOTO The Jets, led by Riff (Ben Cullen, center), learn to play it cool as they anticipate a rumble with their rival gang the Sharks in Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre’s production of “West Side Story,” on stage through Oct. 1. The enduring Shakespeare tale of Romeo and Juliet is adapted and taken to the streets of New York City’s West Side. After meeting at a dance, Maria (Courtney Cheatham) and Tony (Glenn DeVar) become star-crossed lovers caught between the opposing gangs. But they are able to find love despite the ongoing tension of prejudice, hate and rebellion that surrounds them. Tickets range from $42.50 to $67.50 and include a buffet dinner.
