“How can anything go wrong on a day like this?” asks Charlie Brown in Buck Creek Players’ production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.”
Well, the Peanuts gang answers that question and others in the musical, which opens Friday for three weekends. Will this be the day that Charlie Brown actually flies his kite? Can Linus give up his blanket? Will Schroeder give in to Lucy’s romantic advances? All this while Snoopy ponders the meaning of life from the roof of his doghouse.
The cast features (front, from left) Jonathan D. Krouse, D. Scott Robinson, Jessica Barley; (back) Stacia Ann Hulen, Jacob Peterman and Scott A. Fleshood.
Curtain time at the playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Ave., is 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. Sundays. Tickets, $18 per student and senior 60 and older, $20 general admission, can be reserved by visiting www.buckcreekplayers.com.
