Beech Grove Middle School experienced an impressive turnout at its semiannual Smart Start Breakfast, which was coordinated by teacher Kathy Keller and attended by pupils who exemplify the positive characteristics promoted by the school. The honorees, all of whom were nominated by faculty members, received certificates, place mats with positive adjectives describing them and commemorative T-shirts.

The donations were made during the guild’s Christmas luncheon and meeting Dec. 9. Sister Fitterer and her peers from the order work at the hermitage and joined the guild in its Yuletide celebration.
