Two Special Olympics volleyball teams from the Southside won medals Sept. 10 at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Games at Brebeuf High School. In the Unified division (athletes are paired with able partners), the Hurricanes and the Lightning won silver and bronze medals, respectively.
