(SOUTHSIDER VOICE PHOTOS BY NATHAN PACE) A new scoreboard is part of the new athletic field at Central Catholic School on the Southside in honor of Bernie Price, longtime girls athletic director of the Catholic Youth Organization, Archdiocese of Indianapolis. The new field was named in her honor Sunday.

Artists Bernie Price, left, and Jeff Thomas, not pictured, designed and produced new artwork on the exterior of Central Catholic School. Price expressed her gratitude for the support of parents and students involved at the school. Their artwork also is on display in the lobby at the school.

A total of 48 different “little hand prints” adorn the exterior wall at Central Catholic School where Ruth Hurrle serves as principal.
