Previously there were no beverages or snacks available at Nativity kickball games. The five students presented a slide show and a proposed budget to school principal Terri Bianchini who praised the students.
Bethany Community Gardens volunteers honored Ginny Roberts of Purdue Extension-Marion County after her 20 years of service in agriculture and natural resources. She served as a specialist at many schools and community organizations as they began gardens and also offered gardening programming. Roberts was honored during an end-of-season luncheon at Bethany Lutheran Church, 4702 S. East St. The celebration cake reads: “You changed the landscape and heart of Indianapolis.”
