CMR Partners, owners of four Ponderosa Steakhouses in Indiana, including the one in Beech Grove, has donated 840 pounds of pork riblets to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana.

“It’s devastating that one in six people struggle with hunger in Indiana,” said Ryan Barton, director of operations for CMR Partners. “Everyone here and our teams at our Ponderosa Steakhouses want to do our part to eradicate hunger in our communities. Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is an extraordinary organization and we will continue to help them achieve their mission in the future.”

“CMR Partners continued involvement and support of their local community organizations, like the Gleaners Food Bank, is just another outstanding example of the many, many acts of servitude that is at the core of our Ponderosa franchisee system,” said Thomas Sacco, president and CEO of Homestyle Dining, which operates and franchises restaurants under the Ponderosa and Bonanza brands.

In the last year CMR Partners has held two blood drives at its Ponderosa Steakhouse in Anderson and toy and food drives during the holidays at its restaurants in Anderson and Greenfield. The company also has donated food for special events at schools and churches in its communities.
