Southport senior Htayni Partha Sui has won a Lilly Endowment Scholarship, which covers tuition to any public university in Indiana plus $900 per semester for books.
Sui qualified for the grant by writing essays about community service, her goals and a challenge that she has overcome. Her plan is to study biomedical engineering at Butler.
