Lugar Symposium for Tomorrow’s Leaders on Dec. 9 at the University of Indianapolis. The students, who were selected based on their outstanding leadership and service, attended workshops on crime prevention and leadership, fake news and what to do about the backlash against globalization. They also heard from Sen. Richard Lugar and met other state leaders.

SUBMITTED PHOTO Roncalli seniors Adrian Daves (left) and Sam Hansen were selected to participate in Marian University’s San Damiano Scholars Program, which is designed for students interested in becoming leaders of parishes, schools, health-care agencies and nonprofit agencies. The program offers theology courses, retreats, community meetings and internships.
