SUBMITTED PHOTO Roncalli welcomed 294 freshmen to its orientation program July 30. The Class 2016, including Lydia Shock, was greeted by more than 200 seniors. The event, which featured the theme “Frosh ’R’ Friends, Not Food,” included a Mass celebrated by the Rev. James Brockmeier, school’s chaplain. Roncalli also welcomed 10 new staff members to kick off the 2016-17 school year: Kathy Arruda, assistant principal for academic affairs; Sarah Ayala, Spanish; Jennifer Carroll, chemistry; Mia Coster, Spanish; Melanie Eakman, dance; Katie Infantine, religious studies; Tiffany Kamer, French; Jennifer Smith, nutrition and wellness; Robyn Witty; biology; and Tabitha Zimmermann, German.
