SUBMITTED PHOTO Roncalli’s band and choral programs, including the advanced women’s chorus (pictured), spread the joy of Christmas during their concert Dec. 7. The ensembles delighted the crowd with Michael Buble’s arrangement of “Jingle Bells,” “Welcome Christmas” from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and a medley of “The Little Drummer Boy” and “Peace on Earth.” The choirs are under the direction of Joey Newton. The bands, directed by Kathy Peach, performed such songs as “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” “The Christmas Song,” “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” and “Believe” from “The Polar Express.” The featured soloists were Cameron Papandria, Ben Golab, Matt McKay, Andrew Nover, Will Haman, Kathryhn Witsamin and Adam Schubach. The instrumental concert ended with a sing-along to a medley of Christmas favorites.
