Perry Meridian High School’s African-American Club ventured to Circle Centre mall Nov. 14 to help raise money for the Mozel Sanders Foundation, which will serve more than 35,000 Thanksgiving Day dinners.
Seen with Stephanie Sanders, the wife of the late Rev. Roosevelt Sanders, son of the late Rev. Mozel Sanders, who launched the dinner in 1972, are club members (from left) junior Khalil Allen, president, junior David McElroy and sophomore Brandon Axsom. They helped to raise more $1,000 in just a few hours.
