Kevin Wanzer, an anti-bullying speaker, will present programs Oct. 1 at South Grove Intermediate School, Beech Grove Middle School and Beech Grove High.
In addition, he will present a parent forum at the high school that evening from 6:30-8 p.m.
Recognized nationally as one of the most effective and entertaining anti-bullying speakers, Wanzer has delivered more than 3,000 programs around the world.
An honors graduate of Butler University, he served on the staff of “The Late Show with David Letterman.”
While still a high schooler, Wanzer helped host first lady Nancy Reagan’s visit to Indianapolis in conjunction with the international Just Say No to Drugs program.
In 1984 as a result of his working with Mrs. Reagan, President Ronald Reagan appointed him to serve as a delegate to the White House Conference for a Drug-Free America.
To this day, Wanzer remains the youngest presidential appointee in American history.
