Coach’s comments: “We had a great group of eight guys graduate who played together since sophomores. It’s time to move on. A lot of our guys back would have played some last year if we hadn’t had arguably our best senior group ever. A lot of teams we played last year had a lot of seniors. This is probably my least experienced team with only two guys who played varsity last year, but a lot of teams on our schedule are not experienced either. It’s not like the talent is not there; they don’t have the varsity game experience yet. I like our sophomore group from a good JV team with double-digit wins. We have some size, length, versatility and athleticism. It’s a good group that has been working hard, willing workers. We may be green, but the talent is there.”
