In a great Mid-State Conference battle, Greenwood got revenge for last year's loss to Perry Meridian with a 24-21 win. The visiting Falcons came in 0-5 but had a strong defensive front to shut Greenwood down on the ground. The host Woodmen though would make just enough plays in its passing game to take the lead and turn the Falcons over on downs late. The Woodmen move to 3-3 and the Falcons fall to 0-6.
