Center Grove falls to Carmel in 6A title game

Center Grove was aiming for its third ever state title in football Saturday night but fell to Carmel 20-17. The Trojans had more first downs and yards than the Greyhounds but lost in turnover margin four to one. Three fumbles and an interception led to a 20-3 Carmel lead that was too much to overcome. Congratulations to Center Grove on an excellent season.

Lutheran loses state championship game by a point

Lutheran's undefeated season came to an end at Lucas Oil Stadium Friday with a 29-28 loss to Lafayette Central Catholic. The Saints trailed 14-0 in the first quarter but took a 28-21 lead in the third quarter. The Knights scored a touchdown with 10 seconds left and converted a two-point try to take the lead for the victory. Congratulations Lutheran on a fantastic season.
