Baxter YMCA is registering individuals and teams of all skill levels for its women’s basketball league, which will feature age divisions for those 19-29 and 30 and older.
“Women’s basketball leagues are rare,” said Joel Hudson, the Y’s sports director. “We are looking to provide an opportunity for women to continue their love of the game in a competitive, yet relaxed environment.”
Play starts Nov. 2 and runs through Dec. 14, with games on Sunday evenings. Registration ends Nov. 11.
