Natalie Lalich University of Indianapolis senior Natalie Lalich has been named to “Fastpitch News’” NCAA Division II Preseason All-America second team.
Lalich put together one of the best seasons in UIndy history in 2016 with 14 home runs and 61 RBIs. She capped the year with a two-home run, three-RBI performance in the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament championship game in May, leading the Hounds to their first conference title since 2012.
Lalich was voted the 2012 Indiana Miss Softball runner-up as a senior at Center Grove. A two-time member of the Indianapolis Star Super Team, she led the Trojans to three Johnson County titles and the 2009 4A state championship.
