The Center Grove boys tennis team reached the semistate round of the state tournament before being swept 5-0 by No. 5 Park Tudor on Saturday at Center Grove.
The Trojans’ Trey Thixton, No. 1 singles, lost to Aiden Harris 5-7, 7-5, 6-1. The team also features Nick Ballesteros and J.T. Embry, No. 2 and 3 singles, respectively, doubles No. 1 Mitch Runkle and Eli Lawyer-Smith and No. 2 Grant Herron and Mason Runkle.
Center Grove won the regional championship Oct. 4 on the indoor courts at the University of Indianapolis.
