Perry Meridian’s football team will dine together before Friday’s season-opening game. Coach Scott Marsh said the initiative, which will be employed weekly, will result in more team bonding while ensuring that every player gets something good to eat before taking the field.
Nothing unites teenage boys like food, said Marsh, who added that Perry Meridian food service manager Kathleen Leck and district site supervicor Jeanette Moriarty are happy to provide the squad nutritious meals at a reduced price.
