That’s why Franciscan St. Francis Health Sports Medicine is offering physicals to students from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, July 19, at the hospital’s 5255 Building, 8111 S. Emerson Ave.
Doctors will pay special attention to the cardiopulmonary and musculoskeletal systems in order to identify children who are at risk of developing an illness or injury during sports activities.
Physical not only prepare students to participate in sports but also provide parents valuable information about their children’s health.
