Host Southport defeated Perry Meridian 3-2 Friday to win sectionals for the fifth year in a row. The Cardinals scored victories in two of the three singles matches and at No. 2 doubles to claim the title.
Anna Osborne would score No. 1 singles for the Falcons against Anna Gunderson 6-0, 6-3. Southport responded with Htayni Sui winning No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-1.
