Coach’s comment: “We have a good mix of returning players and new kids. They have worked hard during the winter and the kids from JV are stepping up. The pitching concerns me because our top pitcher threw only 16 innings, so it will be a committee approach. We have team speed and we can hit the ball with a lot of power in the gaps. Our speed will put a lot of pressure on other teams when we’re on base. Our outfielders can cover a lot of ground. We will be improved in defense and hitting. I like where we’re going. “
