Southport finally overcame Pike 53-46 Tuesday night. The Cardinals lost to Pike last season in the sectional final. Southport moves on to play Roncalli Friday night at Southport.
Center Joey Brunk led the Cardinals with 24 points despite having to sit much of the first half in foul trouble.
Perry Meridian had its season come to a close with a 63-35 defeat to Ben Davis. Congrats to the Falcons on a fine season.
