Coach’s comments: “We have a nice batch of experience, speed and defense. We were in every game and our defense was a big part of that. Our defense played great last year. We could battle and always stay close. Our speed helps us on the bases and chasing balls hit to the outfield. Our two returning pitchers took some hard losses in close games because we couldn’t score runs that we needed. Erniey and Erin had a great year at the plate. When Vanessa gets on base we can move her around. We have a chance for a pretty good year.”
