Perry Meridian’s basketball team will travel to Roncalli on Saturday for a 7:30 p.m. game that showcases two of central Indiana’s top shooters.
The Falcons have 6-7 senior sharpshooter Dylan Windler, while the Rebels boast 6-4 marksman Jimmy King. Both teams are coming off winning seasons but are faced with making up for losses due to graduation.
Saturday’s other enticing contests find Center Grove with first-year coach Zach Hahn venturing to Franklin Central, Beech Grove hosting Manual at Beech Grove Middle School, and Greenwood Christian Academy, a Class A regional runner-up last year, upgrades its schedule by visiting 4A Greenwood for the first time.
Franklin Central, with hot-shooting Marcus Burk, hosts Ben Davis today. Southport, No. 6 among 4A teams, collides with Brownsburg on Saturday. All games start at 7:30 p.m.
Beech Grove, Center Grove, Greenwood Christian and Manual opened their seasons Tuesday night; scores were unavailable at press time.
