Perry Meridian High School swimmer Cierra Thomas and basketball player Dylan Windler have been named the school’s Athletes of the Month for December.
Thomas, a senior, is one of the team’s top point scorers. “Cierra is undoubtedly the hardest worker in the pool,” said coach Julie Carey. “Her work ethic sets a great example for the younger swimmers, but the thing that really made her stand out to me this year is how supportive she has been of her teammates, especially the underclassmen. She has been a really good example for them."
Basketball coach Brent Keck said Windler is a special player who is a consummate team player.
