Coach’s comments: “Last year we fell a little bit short, but the culture changed. All these kids played with some really good kids and that should make us better. We had a good summer. We don’t have that dominant scorer or as much talent, but we will have better team defense.
“This group really loves to play defense; they took six charges in a scrimmage against Kokomo. And they really move the ball on offense. We have a lot of good basketball players. They listen and are real coachable. They defend and when they have the ball, they pass it to get the good shot, they move, and they set screens. This is my type of team.”
