Lutheran High School’s Tyler Reed has signed a letter of intent to play football for Butler.
Reed, a 6-3, 310-pound senior and a four-year starter on the offensive line, was named to the Indiana Football All-State team for three consecutive years, as well as being selected to the Associated Press’ All-State team and to the Indianapolis Stars’ Central Indiana Super Prep squad. Conference team and honorable mention All-Marion County, he carries a 3.89 grade point average. He is seen with his parents, Mike and Christy Reed, of New Palestine.
Lutheran coach Dave Pasch said he sees a bright future for Reed. “Tyler will excel on the football field and in the classroom. His solid work ethic, determination and strong character will carry him to success.”
