The No. 2 seed Louisville Cardinals defeated upset-minded Jacksonville State 78-63 Friday. The Gamecocks cut the Cardinal lead to 10 in the second half after leading early in the first. Louisville made sure it would advance to face Michigan Sunday with a 23-18 run to close the game.
